Judy Pedemont and Allan Hart

We are career real estate administrators. In 1990, we emigrated to South Africa to work with one of that country's major real estate groups. Our first home was in Rivonia in Johannesburg's Northern Suburbs.

After our return to Australia, and our appointment to a major real estate company in Tasmania, we accidentally discovered our waterfront five acres in 1998, which we immediately named "Rivonia". We built The Boat Shed near the water and, whilst it was always intended for use by our interstate and overseas families and friends, we lived in the cottage for two years.

After building "The Pavilion" at the rear of the property at the end of 1999, Judy decided that she would enjoy sharing The Boat Shed with visitors from all over Australia and internationally. She licensed the cottage as guest accommodation, and has been enjoying strong demand and wonderful comment from many guests ever since. Judy is the proprietor and licensee.

Guests from Germany, Japan, France, United States, Great Britain, South Africa, New Zealand, Dubai, Singapore, Switzerland, as well as guests from every State and Territory of Australia, a number of them visiting us for the second and third time, have all enjoyed the magic views and generous hospitality.

Our two Staffordshires, Barney and Tilly, are also part of the hospitality team.
